Measuring your kitchen in order to get a FREE Kitchen Design created isn't as hard as it may sound.  We'll go through the steps to show you just how it's done!

Accurate measurements will help when it's time to install your kitchen, so TAKE YOUR TIME!

Below are step by step instructions on how to accurately measure your kitchen.

Before You Begin.
There are a few things that you will need in order to accurately measure your kitchen and then translate that into a legible drawing that our designers can use to create your dream kitchen. 
- Tape Measure
- Paper - grid paper makes it easier.  You may download pre-made Grid paper here and print.
- Something to write with, preferably a pencil just in case you need to make corrections.

Draw Your Kitchen.
Do the best you can to make sure that your drawing is legible.  We're not worried about how pretty it is, but how accurate your dimensions are.
We'll use the example below to help guide you through the process.

 

This example is typical of the drawings that we receive.

All of the walls have a dimension as well as the window over the sink and the location of the plumbing.

Notice that there are some added features that this homeowner wants, like a Lazy Susan, Crown Molding and they are going to use under cabinet lighting, so we need to include Light Rail into our design.

They also specified that their ceiling height is 96" high and that they want crown molding so we'll have to take that into consideration when designing their kitchen.

Our designers do their best to create the most functional kitchen possible with the options you want but sometimes you may be looking for something a little different.
